Welcome to AHDP

American Hotel Development Partners, LLC (“AHDP”) is an integrated hotel development company with significant expertise and deep industry relationships.  AHDP brings together a management team with extensive experience in the hotel industry across the entire value spectrum of hotel development and hotel management. The management team brings together collective experience of over 75 years in the hotel industry, including experience in identifying, building and managing hotels. AHDP is proud to have been recently ranked one of the top 100 Owners and Developers by Hotel Business Magazine.

AHDP’s strategy is to leverage its expertise to acquire real estate and construct and operate hotels in the highly profitable extended-stay segment. AHDP has selected the extended-stay segment because it leverages the expertise of management, the segment is currently underserved today, has a low required investment cost and high cash flow margins.

AHDP serves as the Developer and is focused on the underserved extended-stay markets. To date, AHDP has identified specifically the states of South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Pennsylvania and Louisiana as having attractive extended-stay development opportunities. However, AHDP uses an opportunistic approach to find valuable properties regardless of geography. AHDP focuses primarily on the extended-stay segment, specifically the extended-stay brands of the Intercontinental Hotels Group (“IHG”). Within the IHG portfolio, AHDP seeks to develop and manage the Candlewood Suites Hotels (“Candlewood” or the “Brand”), but will consider other IHG brands and other hotel chains if they are better suited for a particular location. AHDP believes that well ¬operated extended-stay hotels are highly valuable and will be of significant interest to hotel buyers. AHDP believes its properties shall achieve operational stability approximately three years after each hotel commences operations, at which time given appropriate market conditions, AHDP would seek to sell the properties.
